Since ‘Sexiest In Nollywood’ started in 2008 there has never been an inclusion of movie stars from other climes except from Nollywood. The first two editions which had Genevieve Nnaji, Ini Edo and Mercy Johnson (for Sexiest Woman 2008) and Jim Iyke, Emeka Ike and Desmond (for Sexiest Man 2008), then Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Genevieve Nnaji and Chika Ike (for Sexiest Woman 2009) and Desmond Elliot, Chidi Mokeme and Richard Mofe-Damijo (for Sexiest Man 2009) never had contenders from the Ghanaian movie industry even though there was always request by members of the public to have the Ghanaians stars included in the ‘quest’.

Chris Attoh who plays Kwame, the guy on the wheelchair on the Mnet soap ‘Tinsel’ hit the big screen in Nigeria in ‘Flower Girl’ alongside Damilola Adegbite. His first film was a Ghanaian movie entitled, Life and Living It. There was Perfect Picture, Scorned, and Single and Married with Yvonne Nelson. Also artists like, John Dumelo, jackie Apiah etc, are to join.
