What a shame! Gov Oshiomhole tells a crying widow to 'go and die'!

"You're a widow, go and die!" That's what Governor Adams Oshiomhole said to widow during a sanitation exercise of Benin City with some state officials recently. The woman was hawking on the road side which is illegal in the state but to tell her to go and die after she knelt in front of him, crying and begging him not to seize her little means of livelihood, is just cold-hearted.

I'm so mad at the way he treated this woman. Wasn't he once a labour leader? Are these the kind of leaders we have? No compassion, no kindness? What a damn shame!

Kanye has gone mad! Goes ballistic on radio show (watch video)

Kanye West is gradually losing it...and yes it's still a laughing matter. Despite recent reports that he's lost popularity by 66%, he still thinks he's the best thing since...

While criticizing big corporations and especially Nike for not giving him much backing for his Nike Air Yeezy sneaker collaboration project on Sway in the Morning, Kanye said:

"I am standing up and I'm telling you I am Warhol. I am the number one most impactful artist of our generation. I am Shakespeare in the flesh, Walt Disney. And who's going to be the Medici family and stand up and let me create more? Or do you want to marginalize me till I'm out of my moment."When radio host Sway asked him why he won't empower himself instead of begging corporations to back him, Kanye went absolutely ballistic! Y'all need to watch the video.

A Case Of Police Brutality Against My Person And Man’s Inhumanity To Man On The Orders Of The Governor Of Oyo State, Mr. Isiaka Ajimobi!

At exactly 11.43am today, while driving my Honda accord car down the Mokola flyover at Mokola area of Ibadan, I heard the blaring of sirens which is synonymous to the presence of members of the Nigerian political class, looking through my side mirror, I realized that my guess was right, as I discovered that behind me was a long line of VIP convoys coming from the Sabo end of under the flyover, I swerved to the extreme left side of road, to allow easy passage of vehicles in the convoy.

After about two or three vehicles in the convoy had passed, I was surprised that two white coaster buses in the convoy made attempts to pass beside my car at the same time, obviously because of the narrow nature of the road, or probably because the buses wanted to avoid a bad portion of the road, the white bus on my side violently hit my car and pushed it to the median on the road, and thereafter drove off together with the other bus. Seeing the damage done to my car, I being a willing tax payer in Oyo state was furious, and I decided to follow the bus that hit my car to its destination, Alas I made the mistake of my life, because all other security vehicles in the convoy kept hitting my car and driving past me in a manner that suggests that it was a calculated attack on my person. I still followed the convoy patiently, but a police coloured Hilux truck in the convoy with registration number: “ESCORT 1” thereafter double-crossed and pinned down my car. Fully armed policemen numbering about eighteen (18) jumped down from the truck and some other police vehicles around and dragged me out of my car. One Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) ADESOJI ADEOSUN who was identified as the commander of the governor’s convoy informed the policemen that the governor had ordered that I should be dealt with and locked up at Mokola Police station until whenever the governor makes up his mind about what he wants to do with me!

At this point, I realised that I was a marked man, obviously because of my genuine, honest and sincere criticism of the anti masses, pro rich/elite styles of the Ajimobi government in Oyo State. The policemen led by one Sergeant Abubakar Mude with force number: 196756 on the supervision of the said ASP ADEOSUN in a manner that best fits the conducts of touts and political thugs pounced on me, beat me mercilessly and dragged me on the floor before throwing me into one of the police trucks like a common criminal for onward transmission to Mokola Police station, while on our way to the Police station, the beating continued unabated, in fact one of the animalistic policemen Sergeant Paul Audu even threatened to shoot me in the car, but for divine intervention. My offence as stated by this criminal gang in police uniform was that an imaginary “OPPOSITION” sent me!

Thereafter, I was dumped at the Mokola Police station, Ibadan by this criminal gang, where I was detained until 5.17pm today 11th November 2013, before I was released on bail to go and see a doctor for medical attention.

While at the station, the police officers were taken to the scene of the incident to recover my car, because I informed them that my car key was in the car as the engine was still on as at the time I was attacked, and that my phones, documents and cash were inside the car which was left in the middle of the road, by the time we got to the scene, my car was not there, but we were informed by the policemen we met there that the Chief Security Officer to the governor has ordered that my car be taken to the Government House(Maybe they need more cars to add to the already terribly long convoy of MR. GOVERNOR)!

This is the state of things as I put out this statement.

It is my opinion that there must be an end to impunity, we cannot struggle to send successive military dictators away, to now be attacked by civilian despots, who were in the comfort of their wives and bedrooms while we were sleeping in cells and prisons for us to have democracy.

Long live Oyo state!
Long live Federal Republic of Nigeria!!

Signed

Ola Adeosun Esq.

8-Year-Old Bride Dies From Sex Injuries After Wedding Night

An eight year old bride, Rawan, in Yemen died from internal injuries on her wedding night, bleeding to death after deep vaginal tearing caused by sex with her 40 year old husband.
She died in Hardh in the governorate of Hajjah in northwestern Yemen, according to a report issued by UPI on Sunday, Sept. 8. Yemeni activists urged the local police to arrest the “beastly groom” and the girl’s family and transfer them to a court where justice would be served and the case would be used to help put an end to the practice of marrying very young girls in the impoverished country, the daily said.

In Kuwait, bloggers offered their prayers for the “bride”, but lashed out at the “groom”, saying that he was a beast who should be severely punished.

Commercial driver and conductor strip naked to avoid arrest in Lagos

A commercial bus driver and his conductor this morning stripped naked at the Allen Avenue/Obafemi Awolowo Way roundabout in Ikeja to prevent some policemen (seen in the pic) from towing their vehicle and arresting them for alleged traffic violation. Their stunt caused heavy traffic around the area this morning and I heard it actually worked as the policemen left the scene quickly.

Mob justice: Suspected gay man beaten up and arrested in Ogun

The hostility felt towards homosexuals in Nigeria was publicly displayed today as a man alleged to be gay was beaten to a pulp in Ogun state.

The victim simply identified as Sadiq was badly beaten at Kotodayo Community in the Ota area of the State.

According to reports, the assault upon Sadiq began after his friend, Ibrahim (surname withheld), allegedly raised the alarm declaring that his male organ had disappeared. Ibrahim said that Sadiq had visited him the night before and began to have sex with him in the middle of the night.

The owner of the one-room apartment where the incident took place lives and works in Lagos and only visits during the weekends. Ibrahim is a squatter in the house and he claimed that it was the first time Sadiq would be visiting him. He also claimed that he and Sadiq have been friends for some time but he never knew that his friend was gay.

Sadiq, in a confessional statement to local vigilantes at the scene of the incident, said he has been homosexual for the past three years.

According to PM News report:

He denied snatching his friend’s male organ, but said he had engaged only men in sex since then and further indicted a prophet whose white garment church is within the community as the one who prepared the concoction with which he engages in the act.

However, the prophet, who was invited by the vigilantes, denied the allegation.

He said he had known Sadiq as one who never chased after women and did not know that the man was gay.

Neighbours told P.M.NEWS that the owner of the one-room apartment where the incident occurred lives and works in Lagos and only visits the place at weekends.

Sadiq was later whisked away by the vigilantes after much plea to stop beating him was rebuffed by the people of the area.

The Nigerian Senate recently passed a bill approving a 14-year jail term for homosexuals.

“Who do you want me to buy?” – Wenger cries out

ARSENE Wenger was left lamenting a “huge, huge blow” as Arsenal were beaten 3-1 by Aston Villa in their opening home game of the Premier League campaign.

“It’s hugely disappointing to start the championship with a defeat,” he said, as he attempted to digest a growing list of problems with the season one game old.

“We are there to spend money,” he said. “People say: ‘Buy players, buy players, buy players … ‘ But who? We analyse every single player in the world and work 24 hours a day for that. We are serious about it. Until we buy players we have to win football games.”

Wenger was unhappy with the referee Anthony Taylor “I didn’t like his performance but more than his performance I didn’t like his spirit of how he refereed the game,” the Arsenal manager said: “The linesman said he to me he did not give the penalty and he was at the level of the tackle, so why does the referee who did not give the penalty straight away suddenly give the penalty? That is what is amazing to me.”

Concerns stretch beyond an early setback as Wenger counted the cost of a series of new injuries. Kieran Gibbs, Bacary Sagna, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Tomas Rosicky and Aaron Ramsey are all nursing problems. “As well as to lose the game, we have many injuries, many kicks, many on the treatment table,” Wenger said. “We have some trouble to recover some players for Wednesday night.”

There is precious little time for Arsenal to recover before their Champions League qualifier against Fenerbahce. They travel to Turkey on Tuesday.

Villa beat Arsenal thanks to two Christian Benteke goals and a late breakaway goal from the debutant Antonio Luna. Laurent Koscielny was sent of

Villas-Boas reveals Bale is giving Spurs silent treatment

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas, has revealed that Gareth Bale is giving the club silent treatment, as he tries to force through a move to Real Madrid.

The coach, who also confirmed that the winger will miss three weeks of the new season because of foot injury, conceded that that he does not know what is going through the 24-year-old’s head at the moment.

“Nobody knows Gareth’s state of mind because he doesn’t speak,” he said. “The only thing we see is the player arriving in and out of the training ground. But it’s fine. Ideally we’d like him to stay here. This is where his future is.

“He is very far off regarding fitness compared to the others. He hasn’t played since our first friendly of the summer so the pre-season has gone by without him being involved, so for Crystal Palace on Sunday, Tbilisi on Thursday and for Swansea next weekend, he won’t threaten a comeback.

“We will have to see how he returns from Wales and if the pain in his foot has stopped troubling his progress to return to first-team training.”

Villas-Boas also stated that no bids have been accepted and that Spurs do not need to sell the player.

“We’ve been very, very clear with everybody regarding the player and our willingness to hold onto him, but obviously in football anything can happen in the end,” he said. “However, this is a player we cherish a lot and who has helped us progress. Ideally we want to continue with him. We are aware that Real Madrid are interested, but it doesn’t mean that we are willing to negotiate about him.”

Oh dear, sometimes the cross that one has to bear for being a celebrity is heavier than one thinks!
Nollywood actress cum musician, Tonto Dikeh has been tagged as the most controversial celebrity – because she is believed to have a thick skin, never cars about what people say about her on the different social media platforms.
Well, we were wrong! She actually does care…
According to a report on LIB, the actress attempted committing suicide a few weeks back, due to the hatred comments and outrageous comments she gets from critics on the various social media platforms.
See Linda’s report below:

“Tonto Dikeh tried to commit suicide a few weeks back. Unbelievable, right? I heard everything that happened on that fateful day but decided not to write about it because it’s such a sensitive issue. She really wanted to end her own life but thank God for the intervention of good friends.
If I write details of what happened that day, none of you will believe it. I was in shock myself. All I will say now is please take it easy on her with your comments and attacks on social media.
The only reason I’m writing about it now is because she kinda shared what happened to her on her instagram page but most people didn’t get what she was trying to say. Also, like Tonto said, suicide is never the solution to any problem. This is for those who are contemplating it. Tonto posted this photo above on her instragram page and wrote below it..

Barcelona... Doing Everything to please Messi

Gerardo "Tata" Martino's the name -- and putting Barcelona back at the top of Europe's elite is the game.
Martino, 50, signed a two-year deal with the Spanish champions Tuesday after agreeing a move to Camp Nou to replace the recently departed Tito Vilanova.
The Argentine, who hails from Rosario, the same city as Barca star Lionel Messi, led Newell's Old Boys to the Clausura last season as well as to the semifinal stage of the Copa Libertadores.

Messi has been outspoken in his praise of Martino in the past and is likely to welcome the arrival of his fellow countryman.
Speaking to Olé last year, Messi said: "I like Martino, he's an amazing coach and you could see in the Clausura what he did for the team, the manner in which he finished and how he achieved it.

"He found the team, he made it play well and everyone respects him."

Martino has spent much of his career coaching in Paraguay where he won four domestic titles during his time with Libertda and Cerro Porteno.
He led the Paraguay national team to the quarterfinals of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa where it was beaten by eventual champion Spain, while it also qualified for the final of the Copa America 12 months later.
Martino has won praise from fellow Argentine Messi in the past and is a disciple of former Atletico Bilbao coach Marcelo Bielsa.

The question is if Messi say Barcelona should play any match will Barcelona Oblige?
